Reducing operating costs is top of mind for all real estate businesses in a tough market. Considering investments in technology solutions, layoffs, cost-cutting strategies and saving for the future, managing a company’s budget can seem overwhelming for some leaders.
Jenni Barnett is the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Parks-Village Real Estate. She will take the stage at Gathering of Eagles on June 19 for the session, “A Fresh Look at Operating Costs.”
Barnett is an industry veteran with experience managing massive financial growth. She began her tenure at Parks-Village Real Estate in 2000. In 2020, Barnett spearheaded the Parks-Village Real Estate education program. She also expanded service lines and brands for the largest residential real estate firm in Tennessee.
Barnett’s vast experience lead the company through several mergers and acquisitions. She won the Nashville Business Journal’s “chief financial officer of the year” in 2013 and was an honoree in 2021. With all her experience, Barnett understands the importance of reducing operating costs, maximizing returns and maintaining the financial health of a business better than anyone.
Joining Barnett on stage at this session are Latter & Blum’s chief financial officer, Rory Blossman and Smith & Associates Real Estate’s chief financial officer, Phil Price.
This session will give attendees the tips and tricks that top finance and operations leaders use to contain operating costs. Barnett and her peers will demonstrate how real estate professionals can boost their margins without sacrificing essential business functions.
