Venture Sotheby’s International Realty, a top brokerage in California’s East Bay area, announced it is now a brokerage partner with Giveback Homes. Giveback Homes recently celebrated five years of leading the real estate industry in philanthropic initiatives locally and internationally and will work directly with Venture Sotheby’s International Realty on projects to benefit their local community.

“At Venture Sotheby’s Realty serving our clients and the community is the heart of everything we do. Giveback Homes is a trusted organization with a history of delivering real and measurable benefit to families in need,” said Andrew Greenwell, Founding Partner and CEO of Venture Sotheby’s International Realty. “This new partnership allows us to formalize our commitment to affordable housing in our area and provides our agents with an effective way to make sure their donations are making the most impact possible.”

Venture Sotheby’s Realty agents will make a donation to Giveback Homes at the close of each transaction. There are 65 agents with offices in Pleasanton and Fremont.  A build day will be scheduled in the area for the early spring with additional projects planned for the rest of the year. Donations will be allocated both local and international projects, directly benefitting people in the most need.

“I was lucky enough to be on the first Giveback Homes build trip to Nicaragua,” said Ryan Secrist, Managing Partner & Principal, Venture Sotheby’s International Realty. “That experience showed me the transformational power of building a home for someone else. I’m so glad that Venture Sotheby’s Realty will be a part of Giveback Homes’ initiatives both nationally and internationally.”

“We are very proud to welcome Venture Sotheby’s Realty as our first Sotheby’s International Realty brokerage partner,” added Blake Andrews, Giveback Homes Founder. “Affordable housing is a big concern in California and this team has answered the call to work toward solutions that make it possible for those in need to have better lives. We hope other brokerages around the country will make a similar commitment. Housing should be a fundamental human right. Together, we can make this a reality for everyone.”

Giveback Homes has become the solution for real estate companies looking to maximize their giving power. Working with partners from every aspect of the real estate industry, Giveback Homes worked on over 50 affordable housing projects throughout the United States and has built over 200 complete homes for families in need around the globe.
