Cerissa Jornod, team leader of the Ben Kinney Team, Dallas, PLACE partner, and former NBA Cheerleader, believes in people. She sees in them what they don’t yet see in themselves. In 2021, Jornod and her team closed 367 units and $125M in volume – an increase of approximately 40 percent from 2020. Because of her success, Jornod was nominated to join the PLACE advisory council to help make decisions about the organization. Jornod prides herself in always being there for her team – whether they just need to be heard or they need specific help in solving a problem. Her team has grown exponentially and organically because of the remarkable team culture she has created. Outside of their direct responsibilities, Jornod and her team are also very active in their philanthropic effort, working with Our Calling – a homeless resource center in Dallas that leads those experiencing homelessness to live a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
